Cover Reveal: The Stolen Thief by Hugo Negron. When I first started reviewing one of the first authors I found was Hugo Negron and his Forging of a Knight debut. It was truly stellar and over the years I have enjoyed the sequel and the conclusion of the third book as well. Feature: Cover reveal Prison Planet of the Mah-Lahkt by Hugo Negron Two years ago I gotten into contact with Hugo Negron about his self published first book series: Forging of a Knight and his first book also called Forging of a Knight . The story of a young knight called Qualtan who was coming of age and coming to terms with his biggest wish that of becoming a knight to protect and serve his country. From the first moment Hugo Negron manages to create the spot on setting of a true Epic Fantasy story, showing clearly that there are dark forces present that have their minds set on dangerous deeds. Author interview with Hugo V. Negron Last year I was introduced to the books of Hugo V. Negron and I was firstly drawn to his stories by the cover art of Forging of a Knight , I know a bad habit but the cover art is the first thing that you do notice. And just as the stunning cover art, Forging of a Knight proved to be quite a tale indeed! That considering that Hugo V. Negron is a self published author, the quality of his stories are just spot on and he knows what he is writing, his first book showed a lot of confidence which was nicely translated and upped in the second book. His Forging of a Knight series shows how our hero, Qualtan, is a knight in the forging. His tale of coming of age and discovering how the world stands is definitly not a story to be missed. And did I forget to mention Those That Stand in Shadow? Those infernal bad guys! It is them that you seek in a story of good vs. evil, with some blurred lines along the way. In the summer of 2012 Hugo V. Negron author of the upcoming series of the Forging of a Knight series contacted Fantasy Book Review for a review of the first book Forging of a Knight. When I first read the description I just knew that this was a book for me to read. And after finishing this book I was blown away with how the tale of young Qualtan was told and everything surrounding this debut book! Since then I have been recently in contact with Hugo and he has already told me that the second book in the series is now with his editor so lets hope for a spring release I have my fingers crossed, I am eagerly awaiting what Those that Stand in the Shadow will throw at our young Knight!! I enjoyed this book so much that is was one of my top favorite self published stories of 2012.  Here is the trailer:
